First Lady Glenna Fletcher Celebrates Change a Light Day

Ky. First Lady Glenna Fletcher signs the ENERGY STAR Change a Light PledgeFirst Lady Glenna Fletcher kicked off the ENERGY STAR® Change a Light, Change the World Campaign by calling on every Kentuckian to replace at least one light bulb with one bearing the ENERGY STAR logo, which certifies products with high energy efficiency and low emissions that would help the environment and add up to big savings on energy.

In Kentucky, if every household changed just one light, we would collectively save more than $7 million a year.  The campaign runs through November.

The First Lady joined with students from three Kentucky schools and ENERGY STAR partners from around the state in signing the ENERGY STAR Change a Light Pledge.
