Midwest Regional Energy Star Conference
The ENERGY Star conference is an opportunity to meet with the entire spectrum of individuals, trade associations and industry professionals that have any role in the production and sale of homes, for the purpose of educating Kentuckians and their neighbors from surrounding states about energy efficiency, ENERGY STAR homes, energy efficient home products and financing and marketing of energy efficient homes. Kentucky Energy Efficiency Program (KEEPS) will have a press conference from 2:30 to 3:30 PM at Roby Elementary School in Bullitt County. The press conference will announce the stimulus grant being awarded to schools who will use the funding to lower their energy consumption.

Kentucky High Performance Building Workshop
- The workshop will include general sessions on Kentucky's Green Bank, LEED v3 and LEED Regionalization Points, Construction Workforce Issues and Contractor Requirements. We'll learn from project case studies on energy performance and lessons learned from Georgia's state-owned LEED certified buildings. Small group tabletop presentations focusing on specific topics of interest to diverse members of the design and construction team will also be available.
