Clean Coal Processes: Applied Research, Development & Demonstration

Through an MOA with the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (“KEDFA”), GOEP issued and administered grants for projects that encourage responsible development of Kentucky’s energy resources and preserve Kentucky’s commitment to environmental quality through quality research.  Two million dollars (“$2,000,000”) in funding was available for such projects.  An RFP was posted and applications were received in February, 2006. The following projects have been completed with final reports. Other projects are in progress.

University R & D Seed Grants

The Research & Development Seed Grants program provides majority funding to projects identified by the Office of Energy Policy for their potential for exemplary energy research. The following project has been completed. Research on other projects is in progress.
